If armed with a 4WD vehicle, this is the farthest point you could drive to without doing some uphill climbing. This is a look back on the trail at about 3/4's of the way to Kaena Point. On the right is the section of road which has fallen away toward the shore below. Further back is a rocky obstruction. Even if your 4WD made it this far, it wouldn't get around the cabled section not-too-far from here.
