This sign is just before the gated entrance to Kaena Beach. Park on a dirt lot to the left of this picture. As part of the large military network under the auspices of NORAD, including the nuclear watch of Strategic Air Command (SAC), the station at Kaena Point maintains a vigil watch of space hundreds of miles above the central Pacific. Its radars watch for commercial, military, and other government satellites and space debris.
