Biography
After spending three years of employment in the banking industry and five years in various operational capacities with the airlines at Honolulu International Airport, Greg returned to college and achieved a Certificate of Completion for his studies in aircraft airframe & powerplant cirriculums. As a result, he currently holds an FAA Part 65 Mechanic Certificate which allows him to inspect, repair, and return aircraft to service. At the moment, he attends Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University majoring in Aeronautical Sciences and has received the FAA Part 61 Private Pilot Certificate through his flight training there.

Greg
Back home, he, of course, enjoys hiking as it provides a healthy medium for his love of photography, nature, and adventure. He is a member of the Hawaiian Trail & Mountain Club, and was actively involved with its weekly trail maintenance crew. He also chaired the HTMC librarian/historian committee. Greg has also been a member of the Sierra Club and Rainforest Exploration Association.

He also engaged in backpackings across the state. In 1999 alone, he participated on five outings, each lasting between 4 to 6 days on the islands of Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii (the "Big Island").

His sincerest hope for this website is that it may provide the best information possible to assist hikers, both resident and visitor. Please feel free to contact him via feedback.
